6月5日（金）、〈Stones Throw〉設立30周年を記念したスペシャルイベントが大阪・club JOULEにて開催される。

出演は、レーベル創設者／ディレクター／DJであるPeanut Butter Wolf、グラミー賞受賞ユニットNxWorries（Anderson .Paak × Knxwledge）の一員としても活躍するビートメイカーKnxwledge、LAビートシーンを代表するマルチアーティストMndsgn（マインドデザイン）、そして今回が初来日となるソウル／R&BシンガーMichi。〈Stones Throw〉の過去・現在・未来を象徴する4組が集結する。

1996年の設立以来、〈Stones Throw〉はMadlib、J Dilla、MF DOOM、NxWorriesなど数々の革新的アーティストを輩出し、ヒップホップを軸にジャンルを横断する独自の音楽カルチャーを築いてきた。

今回、Peanut Butter Wolfは8年ぶりの来日出演となり、“Stones Throw 30 Years Video DJ Set” を披露。貴重な映像アーカイブと音楽を融合させながら、30年に及ぶレーベルの歴史を辿るスペシャルセットとなる。

さらに、Knxwledge、Mndsgn、Michiによるエクスクルーシブなライブ／DJパフォーマンスに加え、関西の実力派アーティストたちも出演。2Fメインフロア、4Fサブフロア＋屋上ルーフトップを舞台に、DJ／ビートメイカー／ライブを軸とした濃密なクラブナイトが展開される。

また、本ツアーではアメリカ西海岸発ブランド〈HUF〉とのコラボレーションも実現。来日ツアーを記念した限定コラボTシャツの販売も予定されている。

Los Angeles-based independent label Stones Throw Records celebrates its 30th anniversary with a special event at club JOULE in Osaka on June 5 (Fri).

The lineup features label founder/director and legendary DJ Peanut Butter Wolf, Grammy-winning producer Knxwledge of NxWorries (Anderson .Paak & Knxwledge), multi-talented artist Mndsgn, and rising soul/R&B singer Michi, who will make her Japan debut at the event. Together, the four artists represent the past, present, and future of Stones Throw.

Since 1996, Stones Throw has been home to groundbreaking artists including Madlib, J Dilla, MF DOOM, and NxWorries, building a global reputation across hip-hop, soul, funk, electronic music, and beyond.

Peanut Butter Wolf returns to Japan for the first time since 2018 with a special “Stones Throw 30 Years” Video DJ Set — an audiovisual performance blending rare archival footage with music spanning the label’s 30-year history.

The event will also feature exclusive performances from Knxwledge, Mndsgn, and Michi, alongside key artists from Osaka and the Kansai underground scene. Across two floors and the rooftop at club JOULE, the night will showcase a genre-crossing mix of DJs, beatmakers, live acts, and dance performances.
